Who You Are

You’re a Senior Backend Developer building a centralized reliability platform that provides a unified view of system health, risk, and reliability across services and environments. You write a significant amount of production code in Python and use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Copilot-like tools to prototype, refactor, and ship high-quality code efficiently.

You are comfortable working across backend systems and basic frontend tasks using HTML and CSS. You thrive in a highly product-driven, startup-style environment where you work independently, take ownership, and turn ambiguous requirements into working solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role with full ownership across the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Build a centralized reliability command center that gives teams a unified view of system health, risk, and reliability across services and environments.
• Create AI agents that assist with incident triage, root-cause exploration, log and trace summarization, and recommended next actions.
• Develop developer-facing features and APIs that enable engineers to explore data, debug issues, and make informed decisions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Copilot-like tools to prototype, refactor, and deliver high-quality code quickly.
• Own projects end-to-end, including requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, rollout, and iteration based on feedback.
• Collaborate closely with partner teams including Product, Infrastructure, Data, and SRE to translate pain points into simple and powerful solutions.
• Work independently in a startup-like environment with high ownership and initiative.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering, with a track record of building and operating complex production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience architecting data-intensive applications and robust APIs.
• Ability to quickly read and understand Python code and work productively in Python environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar tools, and the ability to use them productively to deliver code.
• Practical use of LLMs or AI frameworks to enhance automation and guidance with guardrails and citations.
• Experience working on backend systems and basic frontend tasks using HTML and CSS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and product mindset, with the ability to handle ambiguous requirements and rapidly iterate toward working solutions.
• Comfort working in a highly product-driven, startup-style environment with minimal reliance on designers or product managers.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Experience building AI agents or internal developer tools.
