Who You Are
You’re a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience building scalable, high-performance systems using Kotlin and .NET (C#). You’re comfortable working across distributed systems, designing APIs, and contributing to service-oriented or event-driven architectures.
You bring deep backend expertise, strong engineering judgment, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable, production-ready code. You collaborate effectively with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions that drive business impact.
This is a hands-on senior role focused on system design, backend development, and cross-team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin and .NET (C#).
Build and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices supporting high-availability systems.
Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Work cross-functionally with Product and other engineering teams to define and implement technical solutions.
Optimize system performance and improve reliability through monitoring and refactoring.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-based deployments.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin (Spring Boot preferred).
Strong experience developing backend systems using .NET / C# (ASP.NET Core).
Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design principles.
Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
Exposure to CI/CD automation and monitoring tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
