We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java or Python. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts.

• Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure product quality.

• Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to resolve issues.

• Continuously improve automation processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices in test automation.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation.

• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Experience with API testing (e.g., REST Assured, Postman, or similar).

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (JMeter, Locust).

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
