What You’ll Do

Our client is supporting on a SmartSolve (ETQ) Quality Management System upgrade affecting approximately 900–1,000 users across multiple sites. The instructional designer will assess existing training assets — including 11 Articulate courses, approximately 400 training documents, and a library of micro-learning videos — and produce revised and new content as the upgrade requires. The right candidate builds from what exists rather than starting from scratch.

Key Deliverables

  • Impact assessment — review existing Articulate courses and training documents; determine what carries forward vs. what needs revision.
  • Articulate course revision and new development — revise impacted courses; build new modules as required.
  • Micro-learning videos — AI voiceover, captions, screen recording editing, under 5 minutes. Non-negotiable capability.
  • Job aids and quick reference guides — role-specific tools for the updated training management module.
  • All content ready for the training delivery window ahead of the April 2027 go-live.

What You Bring

  • 4–7 years instructional design experience — portfolio required.
  • Articulate 360 Storyline — revise existing courses and build new modules.
  • Micro-learning video production — screen recording, AI voiceover, captions. Portfolio sample required. Non-negotiable.
  • Experience revising inherited content — assesses what to keep before defaulting to new development.
  • Review and approval discipline — content accuracy is compliance-critical on this engagement.
  • Business-level English — all deliverables and collaboration.
  • US Central time zone overlap — minimum 4 hours/day during active phases.

Nice to Have

  • Regulated environment training experience — healthcare, pharma, medical devices, life sciences, or similar.
  • Articulate Rise familiarity.
  • SharePoint experience — uploading and maintaining a training resource hub.
  • SmartSolve, Veeva Vault, MasterControl, or similar QMS platform experience.
