Who We Are

At MAS Global Consulting, we are a premium digital engineering partner trusted by innovative startups and Fortune 100 companies, delivering high-impact solutions through agile delivery, deep technical expertise, and a strong people-first culture across the Americas.

We build long-term partnerships, not just software. MAS means “more” in Spanish, and that mindset drives our commitment to greater opportunity, inclusion, and impact.

Founded by a Latina engineer from Medellín and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, MAS Global Consulting is a 100% Hispanic and woman-owned company, recognized as a Great Place to Work and one of the Fastest-Growing Companies in the US.

Who You Are

You are a Senior Platform and Developer Experience Engineer with a strong background in CI/CD systems, LLM-powered workflows, and internal tooling. You are hands-on, execution-driven, and thrive in environments where you can move fast against an existing backlog without waiting for architectural direction. You understand what it means to support internal engineering teams as customers, and you care deeply about reliability, observability, and developer ergonomics.

You are comfortable working with agentic systems and generated code changes, and you know how to bring operational discipline (logging, telemetry, run tracking) to platforms that need it. This is a high-impact, short-term engagement where your ability to hit the ground running makes all the difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain, support, and improve an existing internal audit and code-modification platform used across multiple engineering teams.
  • Execute GitLab CI/CD pipeline runs, debug failures, and improve pipeline reliability and merge request workflows.
  • Support LLM and agentic workflow execution, including input/output validation, deterministic execution patterns, and run management.
  • Improve platform observability by enhancing logging, telemetry, and run tracking to increase operational visibility.
  • Review and improve generated code changes, codemods, and automated merge requests to support engineering team adoption.
  • Deliver tactical backlog improvements independently, identifying quick wins that meaningfully improve usability and reliability.
  • Act as an internal engineering partner, translating team use cases into implementation work and communicating progress clearly.

What You Bring

  • Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, merge request workflows, and pipeline debugging.
  • Senior-level backend or platform engineering experience with a track record of maintaining and improving production systems.
  • Practical experience working with LLM, prompt-driven, or agentic workflows, including input/output validation and deterministic execution patterns.
  • Deep understanding of observability practices: structured logging, telemetry, debugging, and operational run tracking.
  • Experience supporting internal developer tools or platforms serving multiple engineering teams.
  • Ability to execute independently on tactical improvements without requiring re-architecture or extensive guidance.
  • Comfort reviewing generated code changes, codemods, and automated merge requests in large codebases.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support internal engineering customers and translate needs into deliverables.
  • Advanced English (B2/C1) mandatory, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or maintaining developer experience tooling for code review, audits, or automated remediation workflows.
  • Familiarity with GitLab or GitHub extensions, repository audits, or large-scale source-code analysis.
  • Experience with codemod frameworks or automated code transformation across large codebases.
  • Background in optimizing LLM token usage, cost tracking, and per-job reporting.
  • Knowledge of MCP, internal orchestration systems, or agent gateway patterns.
  • Prior experience supporting centralized engineering platforms used across many product teams.
