Who You Are

You are a Senior Engineer with deep expertise in TypeScript, and you understand why maximally restrictive typing matters. You've led or contributed meaningfully to JavaScript-to-TypeScript migrations before, and you know how to execute one that holds up under scale and scrutiny, not just one that compiles.

You approach repetitive refactoring work strategically: where a codemod can do the job, you build or adapt one rather than editing by hand. You're equally comfortable integrating AI-assisted tooling into engineering workflows to accelerate transformation and review. Large, complex monorepos don't faze you, you're energized by the challenge, whether that means driving a JS-to-TS migration, elevating linting and formatting standards, or modernizing away from legacy libraries in favor of better alternatives.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and complete the JavaScript-to-TypeScript migration efforts across a large codebase.
• Design and/or reuse codemods to automate refactoring.
• Develop and integrate AI-assisted tooling to accelerate code transformation and review.
• Use and follow TypeScript best practices such as strict mode adoption, type coverage metrics, lint rules, and review standards.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of Frontend experience, with at least 2 yeas focus on TypeScript in production.
• Hands-o experience migrating JavaScript codebases to TypeScript.
• Experience integrating AI code generation or LLM-base tooling into developer workflows.
• Strong grasp of the TypeScript type system, e.g. type interference, generics, and conditional types.
• Advanced English (B2) is mandatory, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience configuring ESLint/oxlint, including writing custom lint rules
• Experience configuring Prettier/oxfmt
• Experience setting up and tuning Renovate for automated third-party NPM package updates
• Experience writing codemods using tools such as jscodeshift, ts-morph, or Babel transforms/ASTs
• Experience working on web platform teams or within the financial technology sector
